Mr. Kneipe Setlhare is a mining engineer with over 14 years of experience in mining operations management, including roles with BCL Mines and Smelting, and Discovery Metals Limited. His most recent role was Executive Country Manager since March 2017 at Giyani Metals Corp a public company listed in Toronto Stock Exchange, He is currently Country Director of Premium Nickel Resources based in Gaborone Office. Mr. Setlhare has years of experience managing both private and public companies involved in early stage exploration, preliminary economic assessment, feasibility study, mine development and commissioning, mine asset acquisitions and disposals.
Boris Kamstra
COO, Mine Development Lead
Boris is a seasoned leader in the Mining industry, with over 25 years of experience in senior and executive roles, Boris is South African, and has worked his entire career within Sub-Saharan Africa.
Most recently he was the CEO of Alphamin Resources listed on the Toronto Stock exchange (TSXV) as well as the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. He was instrumental in bringing the mine located in North Kivu DRC into full operation from a greenfield exploration program. AFM.V is now valued at more than $1Bn. His workforce was for the greater part local and was able to integrate strong community involvement as well as an open partnership and business building approach.
Boris graduated as a Civil Engineer BSc cum laude from the University of Cape Town. He is also a member of the South Africa Institute of Mining & Metallurgy. He holds an MBA from the WITS Business School, University of Witwatersrand (Dean’s merit list).
Carol Pansiri
ESG Manager
Carol Pansiri is the ESG Manager at Premium Nickel Resources, bringing extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, social impact assessment, and ESG program development. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science and Sociology, a Master of Development Studies (Sociology) from the University of Botswana, and is currently pursuing an MBA with plans for a PhD in Sociology.
Carol has a proven track record of integrating environmental and social considerations into business operations and reporting, ensuring stakeholder interests are addressed for sustainable outcomes. Her expertise spans Social and Environmental Impact Assessments, stakeholder engagement, community relations, and social performance audits. She also guides Corporate Social Investment strategies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and enhancing climate resilience within communities.
As a leader in sustainability, Carol fosters collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and is committed to raising awareness on environmental and social issues through education and outreach initiatives.
Karabo Monepe, BACC, ACCA, ACPA

Karabo is dynamic finance professional who is highly driven and results oriented. He has substantial experience in planning and analysis, financial management and controls, financial reporting, auditing, banking, and people management acquired from his previous employers. Karabo describes himself as a value-oriented individual who executes his duties with integrity and honesty and maintains a high level of professional competence and engagement, striving to do the right things, right, first time. Karabo has a degree in accounting as well as an ACCA qualification. He is further supported with certifications including, Advanced Taxation, Enterprise Risk Management, Transformational Leadership & Change Management, and has completed a Senior Management Development Programme.
