VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Dec. 23, 2014) - North American Nickel Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NAN)(OTCBB:WSCRF) (CUSIP: 65704T 108) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that Mr. Keith Morrison, CEO, has been appointed as a Director to the Board.

The Company has also granted incentive stock options to an employee and a director of the Company to purchase up to 1,350,000 common shares in the capital of the Company pursuant to the Company's stock option plan. All of the options are exercisable for a period of five years at an exercise price of $0.21 and $0.22 per share.
